On the Ninth Day . . .

( E A GL ES . O R . B ON JO VI . ST Y L E= C AN ' T G O W RON G )

Bells will be ringing, the sad , sad news
Oh, what a Christmas, to have the blues .
My baby's gone ,
I have no friends
To wish me greetings, once again .

Choirs will be singing, Silent Night
Oh, Christmas Carols, by candlelight

Please come home for Christmas;
Please come home for Christmas;
If not for Christmas, by New Year's Night;

Friends and relations
Send salutations
Just as sure as the stars shine above

This is Christmas, Christmas my dear
The time of year to be with the one that you love .

So won ' t you tell me, you'll never more roam
Christmas and New Year will find you home
There'll be no more sorrow
No grief and pain
And I'll be happy, happy once again .

Happy NE W YE A RS E V E . I am M O R E than ready for 2 0 1 2 to begin .

On the Eighth Day . . .

Oh, there’s no place like home for the holidays,
For no matter how far away you roam
When you long for the sunshine of a friendly gaze,
For the holidays - you can’t beat home, sweet home!

I met a man who lives in Tennessee, and he was headin’ for
Pennsylvania and some homemade pumpkin pie
From Pennsylvania folks are travelin’ down Dixie’s sunny shore
From Atlantic to Pacific
Gee, the traffic is terrific!

Oh there's no place like home for the holidays,
'Cause no matter how far away you roam
If you want to be happy in a million ways,
For the holidays - you can’t beat home, sweet home

On the Seventh Day . . .

A little Hawaiian greeting for you .

Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say
On a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day
That's the island greeting that we send to you
From the land where palm trees sway
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright
The sun to shine by day and all the stars at night
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way
To say Merry Christmas to you .

X O XO .

On the Sixth Day . . .

Oh , how I love this sweet waltz today + of course ,
the photo reminder of " A Wonderful Life , " a Christmas classic .

Frosted windowpanes
Candles gleaming inside
Painted candy canes on the tree
Santa's on his way
He's filled his sleigh with things
Things for you and me

It's that time of year
When the world falls in love
Ev'ry song you hear seems to say
Merry Christmas
May your New Year dreams come true
And this song of mine
In three-quarter time
Wishes you and yours
The same thing too .

On the Fifth Day . . .

What was on your Christmas wish list ?
Did you get it . . . . ?

I want a hippopotamus for Christmas .
Only a hippopotamus will do .
Don ' t want a doll , no dinky Tinker Toy
I want a hippopotamus to play with + enjoy .

I want a hippopotamus for Christmas .
I don ' t think Santa Claus will mind , do you ?
He won ' t have to use our dirty chimney flue
Just bring him through the front door , that ' s the easy thing to do .

I can see me now on Christmas morning
Creeping down the stairs
Oh , what joy + what surprise
When I open up my eyes
To see a hippo hero standing there .

I want a hippopotamus for Christmas
Only a hippopotamus will do
No crocodiles , no rhinoceroses
I only like hippopotamuses
And hippopotamuses like me too .
